additional inforamtion:
this position will ultimately require shift work and include weekends. by joining the thomson reuters markets team you will be exposed to many hands on experiences, in addition you will benefit from advanced hand-on training from qualified associates and central business skills courses.

required skills:
specialized knowledge (mandatory) with hands-on experience for the following competencies. expertise with ms sql and sybase dba. end to end
ownership for customer satisfaction through levels of support, problem solving and decision making, building & maintaining relationships,
writing skills for documentation, planning and organsiation & worikng well across the virtual
team.
integration of all devices to the monitoring system.
perform validation and vetting of documentations that includes ops runbook, work instrcutions, check list, support manual, known errors and deficiency list.intelligent information is a unique synthesis of human intelligence, industry expertise and innovative technology that provides decision-makers with the knowledge to act, enabling them to make better decisions faster. experience with thomson reuters products (client application like xtra, rwm, rmds & dacs etc) is highly preferred.
technical support
providing 2nd leevl escalation contact for troubleshooting, with end-to-end ownership for technical support carried out in compliance with best pracitces
incident management:
prvoide single point of contact to fix or escalate incidents, wihtin agered mean-time-to-recover (mttr) for serivce restoration.
ability to act rapidly and logically under pressure, and make effective use of others in resolving problems.procedures and best pratcice, to comply with operational stanadrds.

for severe incidents, perform duties as required within the technical recovery team to escalate and resolve issues, and
participate in post incident reviews and execute follow up actions.this work is pillar related and may require learning and assimilating additional knowledge outside of ones expertise. initial schedule will be monday through friday and may require staggered hours such as 10 am - 10 pm or 10:30 am to 10:30 pm).iso 27001 and itil processes,
exposure to iso 9001.knowledge on sun access manager application & vhayu technology is an advantage.
