required sklils and experience (must have) (specific skills and/or experience needed, plus associated number of years):
- 4 to 5 years experience understanding en el operation of itil process
- strong communication skills, verbal and written
- advanced english level, oral verbal and written
desired skills and experience (nice to have) (specific skills and/or experience desired, plus associated number of years:
basic understanding of it infrastructure and services
education / certifications reqiured (specific degrees and/or certifications required or preferred):
graduate degree or diploma preferred but not required. etc, cisco, ibm, but we've also partnered with several vendors inclduing hewlett packard, not only are we a leading it service manaegment (itil versions 2 & 3) practitioner. testing certification and support documentation,
> enusre validity and accuracy of service forum entries
change management
> ensure all changes are recorded appropriately within the defined chnage management toolset
> ensure configuration/asset management processes are followed and that the required databases are updated en el event of chnage
> ensure all proposed changes are compatible with operaitonal management requirements
> liaise with the service owner/service delivery management communities to ensure seamless and coordinated service implementation
> ensure the process is understood by all users and staff responsible for change - providing guidance and support as required
> to assess imapct, and risk of proposed changes
> support the global change mangaer with attednance at cabs dirceted

essential responsibilities (specific day-to-day responsibilities and milestones needed to achieve the objectives):
problem management -
> track and publish problem data to ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively
> monitor progress on the resolution of known errors and ensure appropriate entries are made to the known error database
> instigate forums with appropriate groups to conduct and drive root cause analysis of service affecting problems, ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescales
> identify trends and potential problem sources by reviewing incident and problem data
> raising requests for change to prevent recurrence of problems
> provision of management reports of problem tracking, trending etc
