position description/function
this position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to
completion, including; however not limited to; tendering, project launch, day to day management of
projects and project reviews, ensuring that the company produces and maintains professional and
profitable projects in accordance with set timeframes, without compromise to quality and company
objectives.
planning and developing of the proejct, maintain and administer the tmp for the project, plant and materials
development of construction procedures in association with the appropriate site staff as
required by the contract documents and as requested by the superintendent from time to
time
mointor the financial status of the project against the defined budget in association with the
project
arrange, to meet
the objectives of both the comapny and project inclduing labour, in association with the contarcts mangaer.
implement qmp with specific regard to site hazard identification and control.
subcontract co-ordination and issue of sub-contract agreements.v. in english to cv@baikor.com.ar ref: ipm811ess. continual vigilance is required to ensure every effort is made to minimise our impact on
the environment and to understand and satisfy the needs of our customers.(weekend presence if required)
good interpersonal relations; ability to liaise in a professional manner with internal and
external clients
sound understanding of oh&s, environmental and traffic management obligations;
demonstrating an ability to commit to fulfilling these obligations
ability to work autonomously and wihtin a team environment
desirable skills/qualifications
partial completion or attainment of a civil engineering degree or equivalent combinations
technical training and/or related experience
exposure to earthworks, utilities and infrastructure
advanced levels utilising estimating programs, prioritise and organise workload
flexible working schedule, concreting, such expert estimation
previous experience working at a site based level; civil engineering or mining
responsibilities
be responsible for the whole of project,
essential skills/qualifications
minimum of 10 years project management experience with estimation and tendreing of civil
earthmoving projects
ability to retain and manage confidential information
proficient with all aspects of ms office suite and ms project
experience with elecrtonic tendering, including all subconrtactors
act deciisvely to fix and corerct isuses of non-compilance and perfomrance shorftalls
monitor and drvie the toatl project within the bonuds of comapny and common law
copmile preicse monhtly reprots to the contracts manager on/by 3rd each motnh en el
apporved company fomrat, job cositng and purcahsing sofwtare
excellent time management skills; ability to plan.
ensure the quality system is maintained in accordance with the qmp.
display commitment and maintain credibility internally and externally
regular analysis the projects in your portfolio and implementation of production targets to
the field via the supervisors
reviewing the contract documents and to raise any ambiguities via the rfi/tq procedure
prepare, submit and maintain project management plans in accordance with the contract
documents.
conduct risk assessments and provide adequate controls ensuring compliance with
legislated requirements.
meet safety requirements as identified by ohs manager from time to time.
report on and assist minor incidents and significant potential incidents, ensuring acceptable
outcomes are provided and documented within timeframes.contractual and company meetings as required
ensure the timely preparation and submission of the progress claims, price and schedule the supply of materials for the project
provide the estimating department with key production rates utilised to produce project
pricing; to enable senior estimator to populate department spreadsheet
assist with tendering and other duties as requested by the contracts manager from time to
time,
create, their costs and submit in a timely manner in
accordance with the contract documents
ensure all work is certified in accordance with the contract documents and proper records
are maintained
source, issue and co-ordinate plant hire agreements for the projects and attach to the
relevant purchase orders
liaise with superintendents rep\'s on site issues
actively participate in site, maximising all claims
identify and document the need for variations.company car,
